Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Grade 7 team is excited to share that we have scheduled a field trip to Fenway Park on Thursday, June 4th. Students will participate in engaging STEM activities in the morning, followed by attending the Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles game, scheduled to begin at 1:35 PM. This is always a highlight of the year and a memorable experience for our 7th-grade students!

Cost:

The total cost per student (including the STEM program, game ticket, and bus) is $42.00. Money is due by May 29th. Please pay online using the link below.

We will depart WMS at 9:30 a.m. and leave Fenway Park at 3:45 p.m., returning at approximately 4:15-4:30 p.m.

Important Pick-up Note:

Other Information:

Concessions
Concession stands will open in the big concourse at 11:35 am following the event for food purchase. Students are welcome to bring bagged lunches in a clear zip-lock bag and one sealed, unopened water bottle per person. This is a one-time exception made specifically for this event. If a student needs a school-provided lunch, please let us know. Fenway Park is entirely cashless. For convenience and to improve service speed, concession stands throughout the ballpark will only accept credit cards or touchless payment via smartphones. Fans with cash can visit the Kids Concourse near Gate B to load it onto a Mastercard debit card at a Cash-2-Card exchange kiosk. To avoid long lines, it is recommended that students planning to use the concession stands arrive with their own prepaid credit cards, available for purchase at most local convenience stores, gas stations, and/or supermarkets.

Bags, Containers, and Coolers

Bags larger than 12”x12”x6” are not permitted within Fenway Park. Exceptions are made for essential medical equipment and clear zip-lock bags containing our lunches. Backpacks, duffel bags, tote bags, oversized purses, hard-sided coolers, multi-compartmental bags, and other similar-style bags are NOT permitted. All attendees will be required to pass through security, and all bags will be subject to inspection upon entering Fenway Park.

Thank you!
