Thursday 9/12L1 - finish "practice A" worksheet that goes with 4.1. it's also in the google classroom "resources" pdf. GUYS, YOU'VE GOT TO USE THE EXAMPLES FROM THE BOOK TO HELP YOU! the chapter from the book is another pdf on the google classroom. if you don't, you're "going rogue" and you'll continue to have issues doing these probems when you're on your own! if you still have issues, definitely come get help, but i can't help you much if you're not helping yourself first

Wednesday 9/18L1 - do 4.2 Extension pg. 156-157, #1-12. These problems may be a bit abstract, but if you stick to the methods in the book and solutions manual, you have a good chance. If your work looks nothing like what's in the examples and solutions manual, you won't receive credit. Just do your best! 12 problems may take longer than 45 minutes, so just do the best you can on each one and if you don't finish but your problems look accurate, you'll get credit

In your Vocabulary Section of your binder, please write sentences for each of these words. Each sentence should USE THE WORD and it should prove that you understand the word:
categorization, generalization, stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, intolerance, tolerance and bias. Please underline the word.
You may change the form of the word. For example, you can write a sentence using the word "categorize" instead of "categorization."

Tue 9/24L1 - do 4.4 "on your own" #1 - 5 on page 169, and "exercises" #4-6 on page 170. These are relatively easy, so do a great job of showing methods! As always, check the examples and solutions manual (page 109). The solutions manual may not show detailed methods this time, but keep using methods such as m = rise/run, etc.

Algebra - Finish the ixl stuff from yesterday, and if done move on to 2.17. yes, that means skil 2.14, 2.15, 2.16
